ANALISIS EFISIENSI TEKNIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI TANDAN BUAH SEGAR (TBS) DI PT. RIMBA HARAPAN SAKTI – ESTATE 1

This study uses the stochastic frontier production function to determine the level of technical efficiency and the factors that affect technical efficiency at PT. Rimba Harapan Sakti - Estate 1 (PT. RHS-1). By using the True Fixed Effect (TFE) model, it is known that the level of efficiency is 0.857. Factors causing inefficiency at PT. RHS-1 is the plant population, plant age and pest & disease attacks. 76 of 139 blocks at PT. RHS-1 is in the moderately efficient category and 63 blocks are in the very efficient category. The large number of blocks categorized as moderately efficient shows the need to implement an appropriate strategy in the management of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production at PT. RHS-1. Penelitian ini menggunakan fungsi produksi stochastic frontier untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis dan faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi teknis di PT. Rimba Harapan Sakti – Estate 1 (PT. RHS-1). Dengan menggunakan model True Fixed Effect (TFE) diketahui bahwa tingkat efisiensi adalah sebesar 0,857. Faktor penyebab inefisiensi di PT. RHS-1 adalah populasi tanaman, umur tanaman serta serangan hama & penyakit. 76 blok dari 139 blok di PT. RHS-1 masuk dalam kategori cukup efisien dan 63 blok termasuk dalam kategori sangat efisien. Masih banyaknya jumlah blok dengan kategori cukup efisien menunjukkan perlunya diterapkan strategi yang tepat dalam pengelolaan produksi tandan buah segar (TBS) di PT. RHS-1.
