PENGARUH POSISI BATANG ARAH AKSIAL DAN JARAK ANTAR LUBANG INOKULASI TERHADAP INOKULASI TANAMAN GAHARU (Gyrinops sp)

AGARWOOD is a type of wood with different shapes and colors, as well as contain
mastic that comes from trees or parts of trees producing agarwood. Utilization of agarwood
tree at this time in the form of perfumes, fragrances, room, Rosary bracelets, products, and
its leaves as tea. Benefits and economic value of agarwood trees causing high inoculation is
done in order to artificially formed resin eaglewood. In this research was conducted with
Aloe plants inoculation inoculation treatment in the axial direction of the tree trunk (part of
the base, middle, and end of the rod) and the distance between the holes of inoculation of 5 x
5 cm and 10 x 10 cm. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the axial
direction of the shaft position and the distance between the holes of inoculation against the
success of inoculation of plant Aloes (Gyrinops sp.).
This research was conducted in the laboratory of the Faculty of forestry and the forest
on agarwood (Gyrinops sp) in the village, sub-district Dungus Wungu, Madiun Regency. The
research design used was the t test of the hypothesis testing using the factors treatment, i.e.
the distance between the holes of inoculation. The data obtained were analyzed by t-test
hypothesis testing. the observed Parameter is the percentage of success of inoculation (%),
yeast infections attack length (mm), and testing the fragrance level incisions inoculation.
The results showed that the position of the shaft axial direction to plant Aloes
(Gyrinops sp) at the end of the rod produces a long infection fungal attack was higher than at
the middle and the base of the stem, namely of 32.0 mm. Distance between holes
AGARWOOD inoculation of plants (Gyrinops sp) has no effect against the real results of the
infection length of mold, but there is a tendency of the distance of the hole inoculation 5 x 5
cm long produce mold infections higher than approximately 10 x 10 holes cm, i.e. of 28.3
mm. Percentage of plants of agarwood inoculation success (Gyrinops sp) are inoculated with
the distance between the holes of inoculation of 5 x 5 cm is 100%. Results of testing the level
of fragrance like the base of the incision and the middle of the stem of the plant Aloe after 5
months of inoculated including fragrant criteria, but at the end of the stem including criteria
less fragrant.
