This study is about the study of the effectiveness of agricultural counseling in the sub-district of Empang, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).This study aims to determine the effectiveness of agricultural extension programs in the sub-district of Empang Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).
The method used in this study is conducted to take a generalization from observations that are not deep, but the genera- tion carried out can be more accurate when used on a representative sample. Descriptive analysis to find out general characteristics of Empang Sub-district farmers and the effectiveness of extension programs.
Hail of the research states that the effectiveness of agricultural extension programs includes, in the field schools the majority of respondents answered very effectively with a percentage of 45.39%, School material addresses the majority of respondents answered very effectively with a percentage of 47.36%, The pilot according to the needs of the farmers, the majority of respondents answered very effectively with a percentage of 39.47%, The benefit of the pilot is that the majority of respondents answered effectively with a percentage of 40.13%, Supervision of the majority of respondents answered very effectively with a percentage of 34.21%.
