Pengaruh Spacing Bibit Acacia crassicarpa Terhadap Kekokohan Batang di OGA (Open Growing Area)

Thinning is an act of reducing the number of plants to make room for growth for the remaining plants. At a certain age, thinning is done so that population density reaches the most optimal level to achieve maximum results. In the PT RAPP nursery the Premium Seedling Quality Assessment seedling (PSQA) standard, one of the standards is the robustness of the stem. Therefore, it is necessary to do research to find out what percentage of the optimal spacing increases the robustness of the stem. This research was conducted in Kerinci Central Nursery 1 (KCN1) PT RAPP. The sample of this study was the seeds of Acacia crassicarpa, this study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) and used further testing with the LSD test. The parameters observed were seedling height, seed diameter, and strudines ratio. This study used 4 treatments, namely 25% spacing, 50% spacing, 66% spacing, and treatment without spacing (control). The results of this study indicate that the most optimal spacing to increase seed height is the control spacing treatment with 22.6 cm seedling height. The optimal spacing to increase seed diameter is 66% spacing treatment with a diameter of 2.6 mm. The optimal spacing to increase the robustness of the rods is spacing of 50% and 66% with a sturdines ratio of 84.
